The essential oil is extracted from the leaves and stems using steam distillation. With its distinctive medicinal aroma Tea Tree Essential Oil is invigorating and is purported to be useful for repelling insects.

How to Use:

• Diffuser / Vaporiser: Add 8–10 drops to create a [desired effect – e.g. calming, energising] atmosphere.
• Massage: Blend with a carrier oil at a maximum of 2.5% dilution (approx. 1 drop per 2ml). For sensitive skin, children or during pregnancy, reduce to 0.5–1%.
• Bath: Add 5–10 drops to a full bath, or mix with a carrier oil or dispersant before adding to water.

Caution:

Possibly sensitising to some users. Toxic if swallowed in large amounts. Store in amber bottles only. Tea Tree oil has been shown to change and oxidise if stored in clear glass bottles. The oxidised product is a potent skin irritant. No such oxidation occurs when kept in amber bottles. Keep out of reach of children.
